Return & Refund Policy

1. Made-to-Order Production

All items sold on The World in Maps are made to order through print-on-demand production. Each product is created specifically for you once your order is placed. For this reason, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size, or incorrect address once printing has started.

2. Damaged, Misprinted, or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective:

  • Please email contact@worldvisualized.com within 7 days of delivery.
  • Include your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the problem.
  • Once verified, we will arrange a replacement at no cost, or offer a refund if a replacement is not possible.

3. Lost or Missing Orders

If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery window:

  • Check your tracking link and confirm the shipping address used at checkout.
  • If the order appears lost, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
  • We will liaise with our production and shipping partners to replace or refund the item.

4. Wrong or Incomplete Address

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer cannot be refunded.

5. Returns Process

Because items are printed on demand, returns must be approved by us first. Please do not send products back to the printer or fulfilment centre without prior authorisation, as they cannot process returns directly.

6. Cancellations

We cannot usually cancel orders as the production process begins immediately.

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
